Every kyber crystal tells a story. At Crafted Cores, that story begins long before the crystal reaches your hands. We don’t just pour resin—we imagine what it would be like to discover these relics in the ruins of a Jedi temple or on a hidden Sith world. Each crystal we create is meant to feel ancient, powerful, and personal—like it chose you.

Creating that kind of connection isn’t easy. It’s a process filled with trial, intuition, and attention to detail. From first sketch to final polish, here's how we bring our crystals to life.

Step 1: Concept & Master Creation

It all starts with a design. Sometimes the idea comes from deep Star Wars lore; sometimes it's a burst of original inspiration. Once we finalize a design, we sculpt a physical master crystal—usually in 3D—down to the finest detail. This master becomes the template for everything that follows.

Step 2: Mold Making & Color Testing

We create molds from the master, capturing every texture and edge. Then the real experimentation begins. We test resin colors, opacities, swirls, and pouring techniques to find the perfect mix that evokes the look and energy of the crystal that we’re trying to embody. No shortcuts—just trial, error, and artistic instincts.

Step 3: Core Insertion & Final Casting

Once we’ve dialed in the outer shell, it’s time to insert the core—the inner piece that brings the crystal to life, sometimes literally. With the core in place, we cast the final crystal, sealing the energy within.

Step 4: Finishing Touches

After demolding, every crystal goes through a finishing process. That includes hand sanding to smooth imperfections, painting and weathering to add age and character, and a final protective coating to lock in the look.
